About the event
The Valley of Sun Hockey Association strives to grow the game of hockey inclusively by way of the Jim Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund. Jim Rogers touched many families across the valley and was a driving force for youth hockey in Arizona, dedicating the last 40 years to the sport and all the players that crossed his path. Jim started the scholarship fund for VOSHA to provide opportunities to players facing economic hardship that could exclude them from playing the incredible sport of hockey that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, independence, and competition. Players gain valuable leadership skills and lessons in responsibility both on and off the ice. VOSHA looks forward to your partnership so we can give more kids access to the incredible game of hockey as we continue to do our part to grow the game.
