ABOUT THE CAUSE

The Jim Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Jim Rogers to provide financial aid to qualified families in an effort to provide a better opportunity for all players to participate.

Jim Rogers touched many families across the valley. He was a driving force for youth hockey in Arizona, dedicating the last 40 years of his life to the sport and all the players that crossed his path. Jim started the scholarship fund for VOSHA to provide opportunities to players facing economic hardship that could exclude them from developing their hockey careers.

As stated by the Arizona Coyotes, "We are extremely thankful for his lifetime of dedication to growing the game of hockey in our state. Our hearts go out to his family, his rinks and his players".

Join us in keeping his name alive as we celebrate his legacy at the fifth annual Jim Roger Memorial Golf Tournament.  All funds raised will go towards the Jim Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund to help us continue to grow the game in memory of a true Arizona hockey legend.
